Welcome to my photography website. I started taking photographs when I was 18, and studied photography for 3 years at the D.I.T. School of Photography, qualifying in 1999 with a Diploma in Photography. The next step for my career was to learn the trade as an assistant photographer and on production of photo-shoots in Dublin. After 5 years working as photographer’s assistant, I sailed away to work as a photographer on cruise ships in Europe, North Africa, Brazil and the Caribbean, before returning to Dublin to set up my own photography business in 2006.

A lot has changed in photography in this time, especially with the advent of digital photography. I learned photography by shooting on film, which I think was the best way to learn. Now I photograph digitally, though sometimes I miss shooting slide film on my old Olympus OM10s. But the advent of digital photography has increases the photographer's control over image processing which I enjoy.

Currently my work is divided between wedding photography, commercial photography and photo-documentary photography. My wedding photograph takes me to beautiful venues all around Ireland, and abroad. I've photographed commercial shoots for many of Ireland's top brands and advertising agencies. And my photo-documentary work has taken me on interesting projects in countries in Africa, Asia and the Middle East.

I hope you enjoy browsing my website. Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions or would like more information. And drop by my new office on Dame Street, Dublin 2 if you would like to see more examples of my work and have a coffee and a chat.
